Riverdale
Riverdale is a teen drama television show based on the Archie comics. It features a range of interesting characters such as the redheaded Archie Andrews, keen investigator Betty Cooper, city socialite Veronica Lodge, social outcast Jughead Jones, entitled rich girl Cheryl Blossom, singer Josie McCoy, and openly gay Kevin Keller. The teenagers battle against high school drama whilst also investigating murders and crimes across their cosy little town.

Pop’s BLT Burger
I've recently got back into Riverdale after taking a break from it after Season 2. I'm now many episodes into Season 3 and should probably finish it soon (probably quicker than when I actually post this)! The teen mystery drama is interesting and having originated from comics, it hooked me pretty quickly. I'm looking forward to more seasons of Riverdale and eager to find out what they do next. Personally I hope they incorporate characters from The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina as it is set in the same universe.
Using the diner, Pop's Chock'lit Shoppe, I discovered menus online and decided to choose a BLT Burger as dish inspired by Riverdale. The diner is open 24 hours and is often used as a location for the characters of Riverdale. The BLT Burger is a great American dish that has been recreated here in UK as a popular lunchtime sandwich choice.
Preheat over to 180ºC and place a wire rack over a baking tray. On the baking tray, lay down the bacon slices and beef burgers. Put in the oven for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile in a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, and chives to create a sauce.
Halve the buns and spread the mayonnaise over each cut half. Add the cooked bacon slices on top, then add the burger patties.
Layer the sliced tomato rounds and lettuce leaves then add the top half of the bun. Serve with some oven cooked onion rings and season with salt and pepper.
